Honesty......
Soooo Im starting off like this... Theres so many people that say that they are the best at what they do. You will hear lil wayne say hes the best, you will hear Lebron James say he the best, Im pretty sure your Dentist, Doctor, will also say that they are the best at what they do. My question is do you no someone or can you honestly say that someone is better than you and would you not go to your Doctor, Dentist or who ever, if they told you they were not the best?
SN: Nomatter what theres always someone better, andwe can always do better. :)

ReplyDeleteI know certain people who thinks they're better than others at what they do, like my brother he's tha best rapper i KNOW(not heard but know). I wanna think I'm the best mother and wife but I have my flaws..And yes I would still go to my doc or dentist if they told me they wasn't tha best. Shit they're the best that i can afford so sure I'll stick with them..lolz

ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of modesty and the true best will shine above those who have to yell "LOOK AT ME". The more I do music I start to find that to be less true. Hip hop especially is a competitive sport and you have to stake claim to what you feel is alloted to you. Not sure if my personality will allow me to do that but I'll find out what as I grow in my craft.

ReplyDeletewow crazy how you mention this becuz i was jus having this same talk with my college counselor about other ppl work better than others and how you cant always get you down or give up becuz you work doesnt seem as great as theirs. she was sayin to me thats what hold people back from being themselves and bein true to their art. you cant think like that..you never knw that person who u thought was so way better than yours prolly dont even like they own work..
