Religion to me is based off your relationship with God!NOT anyone elses!at the end of the day u have to answer to god...not in a group with others!JUST you
ReplyDeleteI agree with Pac partially. I feel the tainted Bible is what God wants us to have b/c we can't handle al of the detailed info from Him directly.
ReplyDeleteIf we going off the Bible then it says the same thing. 'where 2 or more gather in My name I am there'. Basically church is every where. The building is mainly to feed the souls of ppl in a formal way. School can teach the same thing as a self taught person but more organized. On top of that tithe and offering isn't for the church/pastor/employee benefit. It's for the benefit of winning souls and serving the community as Christ did.
I think most mistake religions by how the people in the religion function and not the actual book that it comes from. A lot of the stuff people say and do (even pastors) contradict what is taught in the Bible. That's why there is so many churches. People get mad of 1 little interpretation and build their own church.
I think it's a case of ppl listening to themselves and then using God to justify their answer instead of just listening to God.
what PAC is saying "sounds" right but is absolutely "slanted" People who say they BELIEVE in God, but not the bible is blinded. We must understand that what GOD wants is what HE desired from the beginning an intimate relationship with us, like HE shared with Adam in the beginning. When Adam chose to br8 the covenant by eating the forbidden fruit he "killed" that relationship as it was, yet GOD didn't leave it that way & sent Christ! See people say if there was a God why He put us here or this and that, u r where u r because of decisions u have made/or whomever u followed. If u in the hood or losing ur home, hungry or whatever that's not GOD who caused that. God out of the good treasure of his heart gives good gifts to HIS children. Everybody is GODs creation but only those who accept Christ are His children. Christ did not preach RELIGION HE preached relationship, becoming ONE with the Father.

ReplyDeleteI agree with EVERYTHING Tupac said..FYI I do believe in GOD, and I agree with you Stoney I don't think you have to attend church in order to believe in him...And I guess I'm "BLINDED" as they get because I DO NOT believe in the bible (CECE shrug)
